In this chapter it will be explained in detail,

• why eneloop is better than classical NiMH rechargeable batteries and
• why eneloop is better than disposable alkaline batteries

We will look into several aspects of battery performance:

• What is the capacity of a rechargeable battery and how is it measured?

This chapter is fairly technical and uses many diagrams to explain why eneloop is superior. We are sorry for that, but without these diagrams, the real advantages would be very difficult to explain and to understand.
